Manglik matching (also called Kuja Dosha or Mangal Dosha compatibility) is a classical Vedic astrology check performed alongside Ashtakuta Milan when evaluating a marriage. It compares the placement of Mars (Mangal) in both partners' charts — measured from the Ascendant (Lagna), the Moon and Venus — to see whether the Manglik influence is present for each person.

A person is considered Manglik when Mars occupies the 1st, 2nd, 4th, 7th, 8th or 12th house from any of these three reference points. The classical rule of balance states that when both partners are Manglik the influence is largely cancelled out; when only one partner is Manglik, the strength of the placement and any individual mitigating factors are taken into account.

This calculator checks Mars for both people, applies the couple-matching rule, and shows each partner's Manglik status together with both birth charts for reference. It does not replace the 36-point Ashtakuta Milan score — it is a separate, complementary layer of marriage compatibility.
